This is an accelerated 31-week full time on-campus post bachelor’s certificate program.
Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Histology - Fall start date only. Plan to apply 3 months prior to semester chosen to start. Program duration is 12 months for fulltime students.The Drexel MHP Program is a 1 year (12 month) NAACLS accredited program composed of 9 months of classroom and laboratory studies and a 3 month practicum in a hospital based Histology Laboratory culminating in a Master’s of Science degree and HT/HTL exam eligibility.Tuition and fees: Associate in Science ; Histologic Technology This limited access program, accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) enables the graduate to sit for the ASCP Histologic Technician examination.DMCUL is a well diversity campus, housing over nine hospitals, where students develop skill sets in Immunohistochemistry, Enzyme Histochemistry and Electron Microscopy.
The practice lab is a six months on hand experience, upon completion students submit selective blocks, H&E and special stain slides to Medical Advisory, for Competency Assessments, before entering into the Histology Department Clinical Laboratories rotation, an additional eight weeks clinical rotation gives the students work experience.
